July 7, Day 52, Watson Lake to Liard Hot Springs, warm

The drive to Liard Hot springs was another very beary day.  After 8 bears we stopped counting, and after 4 we stopped taking pictures.  In this first picture if you look closely you can see his bottom teeth.  Looks like they take BIG bites.  Oh, and BTW, Chuck viewed them from the truck today!

Liard Hot Springs.  And Lana said it was hot.

The ritual is to place a stone at this end where the temperature is almost unbearable.  Chuck and Lana managed to do that, not everybody does. They didn't waste any time either!

    What a lot of fun-that swim would have been right up my alley-warm! All those bears-you had better stay close to the bear spray Jack! Safe travels.
