July 6, Day 51, Watson Lake, Canada. 72 degrees

Finally we felt a little touch of Summer.  We had so much fun riding bike around Wye Lake we did it twice.  Once in the evening and then again the next morning.  It was so peaceful, and Lana let me run once in a while until she thought I might have a heart attack then she would put me back in the basket.

Sign Forest
Some guy who was building the Alaskan Hwy decided to hand a sign back in 1942 showing how far it was to his home town and it caught on.  As of 2013 there were 11,000 signs hung.  Wasn't pretty, but it was kind of interesting.  Found some signs from people from Helena.  Peed on a few too.

  1. Lana, you shouldn't be peeing on signs! Oh, that's right, Jack is writing this blog. Would have loved the bike ride.
